This new 5-storey affordable housing project was designed to meet the evolving needs of local seniors. Replacing an aging 50-unit complex on a 1.35-acre site, the new building will provide 89 studio and one-bedroom homes, with one level of underground parking to support residents’ convenience and accessibility. Timeless, durable, and cost-effective materials such as brick, wood, and cementitious cladding were selected to balance design quality with long-term affordability.

Spanning 4,369 m2, the building features wood-frame construction and a carefully considered urban contemporary design. The exterior blends gray, off-white, and masonry tones, with warm wood accents that add a welcoming touch. Colorful feature projections along the facade, along with stepped architectural elements and a distinct raised corner, give the building a modern and refined character.
